About The Firm

Triangle Capital Group is a private real estate investment firm, founded in 2009, that focuses on special situations in both equity and debt. The firm combines the infrastructure to acquire and operate real estate with a sophisticated understanding of real estate credit products. Triangle’s unique combination of skills allows us to invest “vertically” throughout all parts of the capital structure and “horizontally” across all asset classes. Since inception, Triangle has completed over $1 Billion of acquisitions, and actively manages investments in all asset classes across 20+ states.

Triangle is actively focused on the acquisition of real estate in the $10 Million to $100+ Million range, as well as performing/non-performing real estate debt (mortgage loans, mezzanine loans, B notes, and CMBS/CLO bonds).

Triangle invests in all property types across the country, focusing primarily on distressed and special situations at the property or entity level. Our experienced asset management team takes an active approach to management, working closely with local partners to transform properties.

Triangle also works with investors in need of liquidity or equity to acquire and/or recapitalize JV equity positions. Our experience across debt and equity positions provides insight that can be leveraged to create value by restructuring the capital stack and utilizing our relationships to modify in-place debt.
